Bronze Amani
Bronze Amani, also called Gris Pulpis or La Noisette, is a luxurious Spanish stone. The brown/taupe-like color gives a lush look to any interior.
In Santa Magdalena de Pulpis there is a family business that has owned the Bronze Amani quarry since 1965. Only in 1998 did they start mining this type of stone on a commercial scale. Gris Pulpis consists of many color shades from which various selections have been created. The selected quality is a calm brown/taupe-like type of stone.
The varied qualities consist of this basic color in combination with dark parts. This gives more depth to the stone, so the quality is not necessarily reduced. However, this is slightly cheaper because there is more of it than the selected quality. Many architects choose the mixed variant to create a special effect.
Bronze Amani is widely used in Spain. For example, (almost) every Zara store in Spain has a Gris Pulpis floor. The La Noisette is also indispensable in the ordinary street scene. Valencia, for example, is littered with clinkers of this type of stone. This type of stone is quite hard for a marble. As a result, they are not only used for interior use, but also as facade cladding and other exterior applications.
