Stains in marble

The most common stains in marble are acid stains. These are caused by an acidic liquid such as soft drink or fruit juice coming into contact with the limestone of the marble. This will react with each other, causing the limescale to dissolve, as it were. This breaks through the polishing layer, meaning your table or kitchen top will need to be polished again. You can do this yourself using our maintenance kits (see below) or by calling in a professional via the contact form.
